Invitation to the 27th International Congress of Onomastic Sciences
Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to invite you in the name of the ICOS Board to the 27th Congress of Onomastic Sciences, which will take place in Krakow, on August 23rd-28th, 2020. We will discuss the interdisciplinary aspects of researching the proper names. We hope to foster the discussion on how onomasticians perceive other branches of knowledge as well as on how representatives of those branches approach proper names.
It is also an opportunity to interact with colleagues, to share experience, and to make new scientific connections. Last but not least, it is a chance to visit Krakow, one of the oldest cities in Poland, with the best preserved medieval structure of the old town, unique see-sights and incomparable atmosphere.
