It was with great sadness that ICOS heard of the death of W. F. H. (Bill) Nicolaisen on 15 February 2016, aged 88. Professor Nicolaisen was an internationally renowned name scholar and a former President of ICOS (1990-1996). The thoughts of ICOS members are with his family. ICOS will offer a travel bursary of 30 euros to every full-time student attending the 2014 Congress from outside Scotland.
