Declaration regarding the war in Ukraine
The International Council of Onomastic Sciences condemns the military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the distorted representation of historical and cultural facts to legitimize its action. We would like to express our solidarity and sympathy with all people in Ukraine and especially Ukrainian colleagues who are suffering from this war. We would also like to emphasize that our statement is not directed against the Russian people, nor against our Russian members.
