FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS: 15th Names Congress of the NSA

Names
Society of Southern Africa

(NSA), jointly with the
Centre
for African Names Research

(CANR) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, will be hosting the 15th
Names Congress of the NSA, which will also include the follow-up to
the two Trends in Toponymy conferences held recently in Ballarat,
Australia and Karasjohka, Norway. The conference will be held
over five days from
Monday
6th to Friday 10th July 2009
,
in
Durban
on
the
Howard
College Campus
,
of
the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Papers
are invited on any aspect of Onomastics – The study of proper
names.

Abstract
Guidelines:

  • Approximately
    200 words

  • MS
    Word format

  • Font:
    12pt Times New Roman

  • Applications
    should indicate whether they wish their paper to be included in the
    main part of the congress, or in the “Trends in Toponymy”
    section.
